Sarah the most compassionate and caring nurse I ever had, but she also takes an interest in me as a person. Sarah listens to what I have to say.
Sarah is the most caring dedicated nurse I ever had. She goes far beyond her normal duties. This was one way she made a big difference in my care. I just got out of surgery and after the anesthesia wore off (after her shift), I was in a whole lot of pain to the point of crying. Except for a low dose of Percocet, my pain meds had expired. The night nurse would not or could not get me the medication for pain, gabapentin, or something to help me sleep. Instead, she gave me literature on opioid addiction. I do not do any kind of drugs. I was in so much pain all night long. Sarah came in that morning and I told her what had happened. She said she would take care of it. Within an hour, I got my pain medication (a shot), gabapentin, and something to help me sleep. She is a miracle worker. Not only is Sarah the most compassionate and caring nurse I ever had, but she also takes an interest in me as a person. Sarah listens to what I have to say. When she comes into check on me, she isn't one of those nurses who hits the button and asks if I need anything and leaves. Sarah actually checks on me! Making sure my IV is working properly, checks my dressing to see if it is leaking, and makes sure ALL my needs are met. Sarah is a professional and courteous nurse. I have so much admiration for her. I can't say enough, she really cares for her patients. I would have no other nurse if I could. Sarah is the best of the best!
