Kendra’s ability to maintain her calm while keeping the patient calm and engaged was amazing.
I have observed Kendra care for and interact with an acutely psychotic patient for close to two hours today. She was so caring and professional. Kendra was positive, compassionate but honest, and so concerned for the patient’s wellbeing, as well as for the patient's family/children. Kendra’s ability to maintain her calm while keeping the patient calm and engaged was amazing. Kendra had worked for many days trying to get the patient appropriate care; her clinical skills, as well as interpersonal skills, are excellent. It made me think of the story of St. Francis and the leper. Thank you, Kendra!
