Beyond all of the tremendous medical care by Jafar, his care and compassion were even more of a help to my dad. Jafar made an immediate impact on my dad’s outlook.
My dad was admitted to the ICU after having suffered a major heart attack, which resulted in his kidneys failing. Needless to say, he was in bad shape with little hope of recovering. One of our first nurses was Jafar. Jafar’s professionalism and unparalleled medical knowledge were an enormous help and made an immediate impact on my dad’s recovery. Jafar seemed to go above and beyond checking on my dad more often than his required check times. Jafar made an extra effort to get my dad off of IV medication that would allow him to receive a much-needed catheter for dialysis. This meant Jafar monitored and adjusted the IV medication several times at night, reducing at the right times to the point where he no longer needed the IV meds, which led to my dad getting a catheter and his first dialysis treatment. Immediately after his first dialysis treatment, my dad’s health seemed to take a sharp turn for the best. Beyond all of the tremendous medical care by Jafar, his care and compassion were even more of a help to my dad. Jafar made an immediate impact on my dad’s outlook. He and Jafar spoke at length about life and God. Last night, while in Med/Surg, Jafar snuck over from ICU to check on my dad. As I was sharing how much better my dad was doing and his likely discharge, I could see Jafar was clearly choked up. It’s not every day you see a former 215 Army Medic tear up. On behalf of our family, we are truly grateful to the unbelievable care by your entire staff, but more importantly to Jafar!” God Bless You All.
