His bedside manner was very comforting. Zach made a very scary situation a little easier for all of us to relax and trust the process.
My aunt suffered what we now know was a heart attack. She was rushed to Pottstown Hospital. Our family was very unfamiliar with the area, so it was a very scary feeling taking her to a hospital during such a critical moment with no knowledge of the capabilities of the facility or the care they provide. It was late by the time my aunt got admitted to her room. When I arrived I was greeted by Zach. He was so attentive and caring. My aunt suffers from dementia and sometimes struggles with confusion. This nurse was very patient with her. He spoke with me in-depth about my aunt’s current status and went over the plan of care. His bedside manner was very comforting. Zach made a very scary situation a little easier for all of us to relax and trust the process. He hit all the marks and I felt my aunt was in good hands and I trusted him to care for her enough so I could leave, which was huge. Zach made us feel that we had known him much longer than a few hours and we all felt comfortable under his care. He was the first face we encountered and impressed us all with how excellent he was. Zach encompasses all the DAISY attributes and my family is grateful.
