Claire was there reassuring us of how strong our baby boy was and was always the calm presence that I so desperately needed.
The year 2021 has been quite the journey for my family. In January our world changed in a matter of seconds when we found out that our twins were in stage 3 TTTS. We had laser surgery and unfortunately lost one of our twins. We then went on to deliver our surviving twin at 26 weeks. We spent 98 days in the NICU, and it was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. With that being said I truly believe that NICU nurses are angels on Earth.
Claire saw us from the near beginning to the very end. She always went above and beyond to provide the best care possible for our little one. On some of the most difficult and scary days, Claire was there reassuring us of how strong our baby boy was and was always the calm presence that I so desperately needed. I looked forward to the days when I knew she would be his nurse and as excited as we are to be home, we are going to miss Claire so much! We will forever be indebted and grateful for Claire and all that she did for us. Thank you for all that you are; your kindness and compassion do not go unnoticed.
