Justin asked questions and was very patient, caring, and comforting. He made a big impact on the patient which was life-changing.
Justin was dealing with a difficult mental health patient with severe anxiety and paranoia. The patient creates his own medical emergencies, such as rapid heart rate, etc. He has been a 2-3 visit per day patient in the ED. Justin took the time to sit with the patient after his discharge and talked to him about his fears and medical conditions he thought he was suffering from. He was very gentle yet firm and stayed with him to help redirect his fears and offering solutions to redirect his fears. He asked questions and was very patient, caring, and comforting. He made a big impact on the patient which was life-changing. Justin has been seen working with others who are struggling with addiction, homelessness, or other problems and he gives them hope and purpose to try what may have seemed impossible to them. We are very lucky to have Justin on our team!
