Sonya listened, she helped me through this stress, and to find a nurse that is willing to do this for her patients, there are no words to say but thank you.
Sonya is a nurse on the IRU floor at CHI Health here in GI. She always goes out of her way to make sure, not only that the patient feels ok and not nervous, but she treats their families with the same compassion. She is so caring, compassionate, empathetic, provides emotional stability, she’s a critical thinker, respectful, and assertive. She has a great work ethic. There was a situation that I wanted just to go get out and grab some air. She dropped the computer work she was doing and walked with me. Once outside and we were sitting she asked me to open up. She listened, she helped me through this stress, and to find a nurse that is willing to do this for her patients, there are no words to say but thank you. She will always have my respect and hold a special spot in my heart. This makes it a very, very, easy decision to have my care at CHI health from this day forward. Thanks a ton, Sonya!
