Aimee is an incredibly caring and patient nurse. During the worst times in healthcare, she has managed to get daily praises from family and patients about her care. She goes above and beyond to make sure her patients feel safe and cared for. Every shift, her supervisors get letters and phone calls about the excellent care that Aimee provides. Even during COVID visitations, which are very limited, she has managed to keep the family informed and keep the patient connected at all times. On her days off she is contacted and she has no problems helping out the patients she cares for. The words that have been used for her are, God sent, angel-like, a miracle. She “makes me feel safe”. “I know my parent is in good hands when Aimee is there”. Aimee is also a preceptor to our new nurses, and when she is finished precepting she serves as a guide and a role model. This facility is at an advantage by having her work here.
