I owe Jeff a large debt of gratitude. For his persistence and ability to take it a step further.
When I came to the recovery program I was already 7 ½ months sober. I came to RRTP with the idea that my current health was great. On day 1 I was given a TB test, and for most NP’s a simple shot in the forearm should suffice. Jeff is detailed and always takes it a step further. He has all his patients x-rayed as well because of his due diligence he found out that I have a lung bulla the size of a grapefruit in my left lung. Because of his care and due diligence he discovered that I have a recessive gene “alpha-antitrypsin” that was to blame. He had a biological gene test performed and discovered the problem in less than 3 days. I owe him a large debt of gratitude. For his persistence and ability to take it a step further. That is not the end of his with me. I came into this program with a myriad of mental health concerns. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, coughing tics, as well as addictions. After slow steady progress, we ruled out all mental health concerns to just one issue. Together in concert, we discovered that I have a severe case of Adult ADHD. Mind you that I was taking a handful of medications, anti-depressants, anti-psych mostly. As far as I am concerned, Jeff Osborne saved my life. Both physically and mentally. I take only 1 medication now for ADHD. I have surgery to prevent the air bubble from bursting soon.
