Sarah is an exceptional nurse. She performs complex procedures for our patients that often involve urine and stool. These can be uncomfortable and embarrassing procedures for patients, and at every follow-up visit, patients unanimously tell me that Sarah made them laugh and feel comfortable during the procedure. She truly cares about our members. She often helps our elderly patients get dressed or walk down to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription.
I had a patient present late for her consultation because she had misplaced her keys. Sarah not only helped her look for her keys in the exam room, but she also walked back to the bathroom and lobby the patient had been in prior to her appointment and found her keys. This allowed the patient to start her consultation with me while Sarah graciously offered to find her keys for her. Sarah is incredibly intelligent and an excellent communicator. She calls all of my post-operative patients and communicates complicated surgical procedures in understandable terms and troubleshoots many small problems before they become major complications. She is an excellent clinician and has a huge heart. I am so grateful to have her help me take care of our patients.
