Sarah got down on her knees to my eye level and very empathetically spoke to me.
Sarah came on shift when I was really struggling with contractions. Medication had been started and I was feeling very overwhelmed and in incredible pain. The very first thing she did was let me know I was going to be in good hands, and I immediately felt reassured. She got down on her knees to my eye level and very empathetically spoke to me. Throughout my labor, she really helped me feel safe. She did an amazing job teaching the extern she had with her. I was very impressed with her bedside manner, the way she spoke to her extern, and all the education she provided. It truly made an enormous difference in my experience, and I am super grateful for her care! When I think about how difficult this was, I will always remember Sarah as being an important factor of the positive outcome.
