Morgana instructed the mother to push, and she caught the baby.
Morgana responded to a lady yelling for help and responded alone. She called out for help, in which I responded with a few other nurses; Morgana told us calmly that the lady I the restroom whom she was helping was about to have a baby. Morgana instructed the mother to push, and she caught the baby. The aby was having a hard time transitioning and Morgana remained calm and professional.
Once mom and baby were stabilized, Morgana and I went to congratulate the mom. The following day we went to say hi to mom and see how she was feeling and congratulate her once more. I feel Morgana should be thanked and recognized. She was professional, compassionate, worked well with the team who responded, and overall is an exceptional nurse. She always has a positive attitude and is always willing to help others. We need more nurses like Morgana!
