Katie took the time to find out about my grandkids and looked at my pictures with me.
The first thing I noticed was her big smile as she introduced herself. Each time she entered the room, she always offered her help in many ways. After telling her about how depressed I've been over my illness, she had me laughing. She offered to pray with me and my husband which I greatly appreciated and needed. She took the time to find out about my grandkids and looked at my pictures with me. It only takes a few moments to offer support and be as kind as she did so well. She asked if I needed anything else later on in her shift and I told her yes if she could come back and pray. This sweet young lady came back at the end of her shift and took time to pray with me. I felt so grateful to have met a nurse who cared so much. Any patient would be lucky and blessed to have her as their nurse and this hospital should be proud to have her on their team.
