Kim made sure that I was as comfortable as I could possibly be considering the nature of the procedures I had to go through.
Kim has made such a difference in my most recent hospital stay. I, unfortunately, suffered from a bowel blockage and had to undergo a great many unpleasant procedures in order to clear up my situation. During all of this Kim was my nurse for six out of the 10 days I had to endure unimaginable embarrassment and discomfort. These procedures were absolutely demoralizing. However, Kim made them so much more tolerable with her kind attitude her great compassion, and her gentle nature. I felt truly cared for not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well.
Kim made sure that I was as comfortable as I could possibly be considering the nature of the procedures I had to go through. She was very encouraging toward me while I was going through horrific things. She showed a level of kindness and sympathy that I rarely see in nurses (and I have had many nurses). I know an exceptional nurse when I have one. She never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed of what was being done to me and she used her incredible kindness to talk me through these procedures and make sure I was as comfortable as I could possibly be. Kim is professional but friendly. She is understanding and kind. She is very adept at her job without losing any of her immense compassion.
