She treats each and every patient how she would want her family to be treated. Hillary spent time doing a pedicure on a non-verbal total care patient.
Hillary works well with teammates. We always call her “the assistant to the charge nurse”. She is friendly and helpful to all disciplines. She has excellent communication skills. Hillary gets to work and immediately assesses her patients, she updates family members and is kind and compassionate. She is always thinking about her patients and performing the most thoughtful tasks for them. She treats each and every patient how she would want her family to be treated. Hillary spent time doing a pedicure on a non-verbal total care patient. The family brought pictures of the patient and shared how she liked to be all dressed up for every occasion. The patient is from out of state and the family had returned home. The patient was not alert nor responsive and probably never knew that Hillary had spent time pampering and painting her toes.
