Jeanne spreads her 'petals of knowledge', compassion, flexibility, patience, and perseverance every day to everyone she comes in contact with.
Ms. Martin joined ECU CON faculty in 2015 and serves as Director of the ABSN program as well as the Student Leadership Council. She serves as a positive role model in pursuing her Ph.D. studies. Words and phrases used by her peers to best describe Ms. Martin include - outstanding interpersonal skills; genuine care and compassion; clear, thoughtful, and direct communication; always willing to assist; integrity; warm, friendly, patient, and caring; a positive attitude and a self-starter; passionate; and the most popular: enthusiasm (used by 4 of 5 peers who nominated her). One of her colleagues wrote: “Daisies are known flowers that do not bud, flower, and die to never again show its beauty. A daisy is a flower that spreads its petals in the morning to embrace the world and folds the petals in at night to rest only to return to the routine the very next day when the sun shines once again. Jeanne is a DAISY. She spreads her 'petals of knowledge', compassion, flexibility, patience, and perseverance every day to everyone she comes in contact with including faculty, staff, and students.”
