Grace is conscientious, caring, and devoted to helping her patients, colleagues, and fellow students.
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program recognizes Dr. Grace Falcone. Grace has a DNP and FNP and is currently the director of the ECT program at Duke University Hospital. Grace is a post master’s certificate student in our PMHNP program and is scheduled to graduate this spring. Grace excels in all of her academic work. She is conscientious, caring, and devoted to helping her patients, colleagues, and fellow students. Grace exemplified this during her psychotherapy clinical rotation last fall during the height of COVID 19 by developing, implementing, and facilitating a nurse support group for those on the frontlines. These groups were well attended and appreciated by the participants as it gave them a chance to talk about their stressful experiences in a caring, confidential, and supportive environment. Grace has a modest and compassionate demeanor and puts others at ease with her quiet humility. She certainly represents the essence of a DAISY Nurse.
