McKenzie came to our unit one night to help assist the nurses to start an emergent Peritoneal Dialysis run on a difficult patient situation where it was the patient's first time. McKenzie was gracious, professional, and presented to the patient a calm demeanor. McKenzie helped educate the patient and staff about infection prevention. I really appreciated the assistance and knowledge that she gave us. She helped everything run smoothly and was a liaison between the doctor, patient, and staff.
