Today, I got an email from Jackie just inquiring about my Dad.
Nurse Gauger undoubtedly sees and treats numerous patients daily, but she has taken time with my Dad and has worked tirelessly to see that his treatment and care are right. In fact, one of his cancer medications was very expensive and she worked hard to convince the pharmaceutical company to allow him to try the drug without a co-pay! Today, I got an email from Jackie just inquiring about my Dad. She had been praying for my Dad and simply wanted to know how he was doing. We are so thankful to have her. In fact, when we talk about Jackie, we describe her as an ‘angel in disguise’.
