Andrea surprised me with a beautiful homemade cake that immediately exemplified to me what a warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring co-worker she is.
I started working at this hospital in April of 2019. My manager worked here per diem at the time and was one of the most, warm and welcoming of co-workers. Since I was a new nurse to the facility, I didn’t have time accumulated yet to take off for a milestone birthday and since that was the case, she surprised me with a beautiful homemade cake that immediately exemplified to me what a warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring co-worker she is. When our manager and director left right at the start of COVID we were left kind of stranded with not much direction. She came and took on the role of the manager here in the area and has been a wonderful mentor and a kind and caring friend. She has come in on Sundays and organized this place going above and beyond. She is fair and honest with her team and I am proud to be a part of it. She always makes herself available and is quick to help solve any issues. I think Andrea exemplifies a kind and compassionate leader and should be recognized.
