Jennifer handled herself so professionally but with urgency and compassion.
Jennifer was an absolutely amazing nurse who kept her composure during two very intense moments during my labor and delivery. The first occurred whenever I had three intense contractions and I delivered with no time for an epidural. I believe my delivery occurred within 45 minutes of being admitted. Jennifer saw the urgency – was calm, compassionate and very quickly got the PA and the doctor into the room. I could tell she was the nurse you wanted by your side during an intense situation you might be in. Then about 2 hours into recovery I had a postpartum hemorrhage. Once again, I was fortunate to have had Jennifer with me. She was the nurse who came onto the issue. She handled herself so professionally but with urgency and compassion. She immediately made sure both the baby and I were in the best care. The care she provided during this time when I was so scared reassured me that I was in good hands. She took the time to explain to me what was going on while others were working on me. She also took the time to talk to me after my doctor and PA stopped the hemorrhage and removed the clots. She should be recognized for her professionalism, compassion, and commitment to her patients. I can’t thank her enough.
