Beckie asked me questions, listened, and followed through while always being professional courteous, caring and compassionate.
First and foremost, Beckie cares for her patients. When she took care of me she made sure I was the priority. She asked me questions, listened, and followed through while always being professional courteous, caring and compassionate. The one situation that stands out to me was when Beckie stayed after or past her shift to ensure that my catheter was out. I had new ice for my ice bag and she secured and set up the machine that prevents blood clots. Beckie did all of this while a blizzard was taking place outside and she should have left to get home. She sacrificed her well-being to ensure I was set for the evening. She went above and beyond. I am moved and grateful Beckie was my nurse. She is an Extraordinary Nurse in every way all while smiling, not complaining, or rushing me. Please acknowledge Beckie’s work ethic, amazing personality, and attention to detail. This is by far my best stay in a hospital and I credit Beckie for this. One more thing, she mentioned on one more occasion how much she appreciates her co-workers and that getting to work was a must so those who stayed extra hours could get home.
