Heidi provided me with constructive positive feedback when I hit a monumental benchmark in dilation or the labor process, making my induction feel less challenging.
I entered the hospital very nervous and excited to have my first child. In a matter of hours of being treated by Heidi, not only did she make me more knowledgeable in the procedures that I was receiving, but also empowered me to make decisions so I could truly advocate for myself and my child. She talked to me as an equal and provided me a toolkit of tips to reduce pain before receiving my epidural.
Additionally, Heidi talked to my husband and I about our move and huge life change which made the very painful process of receiving the balloon foley bearable. It was a much-needed distraction! Lastly, Heidi provided me with constructive positive feedback when I hit a monumental benchmark in dilation or the labor process, making my induction feel less challenging. I am so grateful for her guidance.

Heidi is the epitome of what a nurse should be. She’s compassionate, empathetic, caring, attentive, and so very kind. Heidi really helped to ease me and my sister’s anxieties as she was in labor. Heidi never left us in the dark about anything. She was very informative and broke medical terminology down into simple English so that we could get a better understanding. You can tell that being a nurse isn’t just a job for her but that she actually has a passion for helping people.
Even after my sister was moved to another floor, Heidi made time to come check on her as promised and even went to visit my nephew in the NICU before stopping by. She even went above and beyond to make sure my sister was given all of her postpartum necessities. Heidi, I don’t know how we would’ve done it without you. We love you and thank you tremendously!

Thank you, Heidi! From the moment I was admitted to Labor & Delivery, Heidi made me feel like I was her most important patient. She, in a matter of seconds, took all of my fears about giving birth. As a first time mom, I was nervous about delivery. My nervousness became fear when I was told I had a fever. Heidi’s concern for me and the baby was so genuine. Through the entire process, Heidi gave me very thorough information, explained every medication and every reason things were being done. She encouraged me through every contraction, every push, and made me feel like a superwoman after I gave birth to my son. Heidi was a major reason I was able to have such an easy labor. She really made me feel comfortable. She was attentive, informative, and fun to be around! You can tell she loves what she does and is good at what she does. I appreciate every second I had her as my nurse. She is truly one of a kind!
