Angie received a compliment from a family member of a patient who came to the Emergency Department in Cardiac Arrest. Angie was one of the nurses actively involved in performing life-saving interventions on this patient. During the resuscitation, the patient made eye contact with Angie and she advocated to the ED Physician to continue efforts. The family member wrote, "there are not enough words to express how incredibly thankful I am, our children, family, and friends are for everything you and the other nurses did that day!" The patient went on to have an emergency procedure from the ED and is now home and recovering well both mentally and physically.

Angie prides herself in working for Genesis. As a member of the community, she strives to make our hospital the best place to receive care. As an Educator instilling values in her team she promotes quality, compassionate care. She says, "I want this place to be the best it can be because my family comes here".
