I had Florian as my nurse in the ED. Florian went past above and beyond. Once he took over the shift, he immediately came into check on me and do a pain assessment without me having to even ring for him. In fact, knowing how busy the ED was Florian made his way to my room just about every hour to check on my comfort and pain, and never once did I have to ring the bell let alone wait 20 minutes just for him to show up. He made it a point to keep me updated on my wait for Interventional Radiology to have my LP done and once I returned he was in my room to check on and reassess me. It’s my understanding he was floated to the ED from the ICU and I for one am glad that this was the day. The treatment I received from the nursing staff was absolutely like no other, if the numbers went beyond 10/10, that would be my choice!
