While in critical care with COVID-19 struggling to heal, Karin took care of me lovingly and met every need. My greatest need one day was worrying about my husband at home alone with COVID himself. No one could go inside to really see how he was doing, although he kept telling me he was okay. Karin told me that she would go and check on him after her shift and let me know his status. She worked from 7:00 AM that day until after 8:00 PM but still went to my home after. She sent me a picture along with his pulse ox to show me he was progressing well. She helped him download an app so my husband and I could keep in better contact. Who does this for a worried fretful patient to help them heal? She had to be exhausted! She calmed my fears, each one, positively lifting me up and encouraging me that all would be well. I will never forget her, she is beautiful. There truly are angels among us. She is one.
