Kat is an amazing nurse with clinical expertise like no other. She is a very experienced ICU/Trauma nurse, and her experience is key to her success as a Banner Health Transfer Services nurse. She can quickly identify the services needed, the appropriate facility, and often knows not only the provider but has the phone number to reach him/her memorized. She is always on point, professional, and just an amazing wealth of knowledge.

When I grow up, I want to be just like Kat. She is an amazing example to me as a new member of the transfer team, and I have the utmost respect for her. She goes above and beyond every shift and is the go-to person for everyone on the team. Kat is always more than willing to help others while at the same time working her cases. I have watched her work to coordinate services for a trauma patient in less than 5 minutes, which is key to the patient outcome; and to think of how many times she has done that, is mind-blowing.  She is very hardworking.
