This was my first time working with her as charge nurse. We started with 30 patients and 8 nurses. She did an excellent job as charge. She remained calm and helped everybody. People respect her.

It is very hard and stressful to be charge nurse on this floor. She is an excellent person and an exceptional nurse/ coworker. She had a somewhat difficult patient today and was so wonderful, thoughtful, and patient with him during her entire shift. In the middle of the shift, her patient decided that he wanted to leave against medical advice. She was so caring and spoke to him with respect and compassion. Eventually, over two hours of talking to him into staying on the unit, the unit crisis team arrived. After the crisis team arrived and assessed the patient, he was deemed to be gravely disabled and placed on a 72-hour hold. This nurse had handled the situation.

Nina is just an amazing charge nurse. She was our charge on the floor, everything went smoothly. She is very organized and keeps her calm which makes things so much easier for bedside nurses.
