Jessica has been our senior director for the last couple of years. She is a great role model, motivator, and teacher. Her ongoing compassion and commitment to our team do not go unnoticed. From recognizing birthdays and anniversaries, checking on how we’re doing personally, and thanking employees for the work we do, Jessica is appreciated by us each and every day.


Through the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jessica ensured that we were provided with the most up-to-date information and really took the time to address questions and concerns. She challenges us to be better than we were the day before, supports our leadership decisions, and allows us to grow. Jessica believes in her team and inspires them to never give up. No matter how difficult things get, she finds a way to push you forward and encourage you to keep going because you know you’re never in this alone – she has your back.

Jessica is the epitome of nursing. She continuously demonstrates our core values and has a love for this profession. Her hard work and dedication show through long nights responding to emails, her leadership through the pandemic, and her commitment to rounding each unit to have crucial conversations with staff. Jessica is constantly setting the bar high and her work ethic surpasses standard expectations. She manages employees as an individual and human beings first.

Jessica joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s in 2008 and is an outstanding example of a transformational leader. She consistently displays very high standards and despite challenging demands personally and professionally, she remains steady, committed, persistent, and compassionate. She is a source of strength and support for her peers and colleagues and is always willing to take on new opportunities to learn, grow and develop herself and her team.
