During some scary and painful times, Skye always stopped and took the extra time to explain things to me and make me feel comforted. She literally let me cry on her shoulder one night even though I knew she was super busy and had a million other things to do. She would make sure I got sleep when I needed it the most, but would also stop in my room 100 times a night when there were problems, not stopping until they were fixed and then celebrating my little health victories. She was fair and firm, and no matter how busy she got I knew she would take the time to get things right and explain things to me. I've never had to stay multiple nights in a hospital before, and my family and friends were out of town (on a vacation i shouldve been along with), and skye made me feel like I wasn't alone. 10/10, amazing nurse and human.
