This man always enters with a smile. He always asks first to see how you are without being busy. He will sit first and listen. This man brought me items all on his own. I never asked for anything, he just walks in with a smile and a bag. Unreal. I’ve never been so impressed with an individual. He just cares, he truly cares about the people he works with. I am not one of many words or even to put the words together. This nurse deserves it. He first is a caring, compassionate human. He will get answers, he will listen, he truly cares. This nurse went above and beyond just a job. I believe his job comes second or so he makes you feel that way. I don’t mean he doesn’t do his job. I’m just saying he doesn't make you think that his job is more symbolic than the patient. Dan, I’m sorry I cannot express in words better the recognition you deserve. I cannot put into words the upbringing you brought me when I was done. The way you’re able to turn light and good and positive thoughts in what can be a gloomy place. Thank you for what you did. Thank you for caring. Thank you for listening and planning, sharing and your kind gift just to say - I’m thinking of you. Dan you are a great nurse and a better man and human. This is a friend anybody would be lucky to have!
