Ann has a true heart of gold. I remember a couple of months ago I was picking up some extra shifts in Well Baby; one day one of the baby’s moms was in ICU. Ann spent 30 minutes out of her day to help me get their camera to work so I could print a picture of the baby for the mom to have. She genuinely cared that this momma needed to be able to see her baby since she was unable to physically be with the baby.

Just last week I attended a STAT C-section due to an abruption and Ann was the labor nurse, she displayed such care, compassion, and genuine concern for the baby. She updated the father as soon as she could and she took time to make sure he was okay as well.

Today I attended another STAT C-section and again Ann was the labor nurse. She always has her facts straight and truly knows her stuff. I believe it is Ann’s calling to be a labor and delivery nurse. I know some days she is stressed, busy, and may even feel like nothing is going right, and I hope in those moments she remembers God put her in this spot for a reason.
