Without a doubt, we knew that Michelle was someone who was genuinely concerned for the wellbeing and development of both patients and their loved ones.
When my wife and I arrived on the seventh floor shortly after giving birth, we had no clue what to expect and were slightly nervous, to say the least. Shortly after entering the newly assigned room, our nurse, Michelle, stopped by greeting us with a warm and welcoming smile; assuring we were in good hands. While giving us our paperwork and a brief orientation, Michelle voluntarily shared helpful tips and was very knowledgeable regarding any questions or concerns shared. We can clearly see that the Mother Baby unit enjoys what they do, but Michelle went even further by being as compassionate and polite as can be. Michelle re-educated us on helpful swaddle techniques and even reflected on past experiences to relate and comfort us during uncertainty. As the day and evening progressed, her exemplary practices continued. Making connections with either myself or my wife every time she entered our room. Without a doubt, we knew that Michelle was someone who was genuinely concerned for the wellbeing and development of both patients and their loved ones. We could not have asked for a better experience and pray that Michelle's great work continues to spread with her kindness and compassion reaching as many families as possible. Thank you!
