I just wanted to recognize the teamwork on 3T-nurses every day are looking out for each other on 3T and helping each other and the patients definitely get the benefit of great care because these nurses work so well together! Ali Cornelison and also a nursing instructor Randi Godsey had a student and went to help another nurse that had an especially crazy day with patients coming and going for testing and procedures. Randi and her student recognized the 44-year-old patient had slurred speech and a facial droop. They immediately thought she could be having a stroke. They notified the primary nurse Ali and called a stroke alert. This young patient was in fact having a stroke! Because of the teamwork on 3T this patient got great care! Ali and Randi both did great work and made a difference!
