Nicholas goes above and beyond when it comes to patient care. He is innovative, assisting with new processes and improving patient care. Nicholas often sits with elderly, anxious patients to alleviate their fears. During the COVID pandemic, many patients were unable to have visitors in person and he was always observed spending time and caring for their every need. He would sit in the dayroom, speaking at length, helping to calm and reassure them. He facilitated assisting them with FaceTime or Zoom to connect with their loved ones. When he left the patients they were calm and smiling. Nicholas really embodies the Northwell Health core values, and he is made for this!
