All of these words will be explained in the value of this nurse. Today was the first time that Nurse Miller had my case. She entered the room with a very compassionate spirit. She introduced herself to me, my husband and mother. Before she addressed my concerns, she asked me if it was it ok to address my medical treatment in front of my family and I said yes. She explained my medications what time they would be issued and what they were for. My wound care machine was full, and she went and got another kit and immediately placed it in the device. My husband asked her what nursing school she attended she told him, and he said she was taught good because she was so thorough and professional. He jokingly said since he had been visiting me that no other nurse had even explained his wife’s treatment plan or talked in general the way she did.

Nurse Miller exemplifies all the qualities of a DAISY Nurse. Somehow she knew what I needed for the remainder of my time here in the hospital. Thank you for being kind to me and I will forever be grateful to you in the way you made me feel. You give the profession of nursing a good name.
