Jennette was one of the first people to introduce herself to us when my brother was being checked into the VA system after his stroke. She was introduced as his Primary Care Manager RN – from that day forward she was our go-to gal. The best! We explained his condition and concerns. His stroke caused him to be confused easily but Jennette promised she’d always be there for him and she was. We saw her interact with all of her patients with the same compassion, caring professionalism. When we had questions between office visits, she would always return all of the calls within that day. If he went to appointments without assistance she’d be sure he had someone to guide him along the way.

I just can’t express what an amazing, loving, and sincere passion she has for her job and each individual patient. This is truly her passion, some people do it as a job she does it for the love of her patients and families. Jennette has taken time out of her lunches and breaks to return our calls on to just check in with us and our brother's concerns. She always did little things to help make his visits easier. She’d be sure his rides were set up, be sure he had arrived, and get him to his destination on time.

In conclusion, I can’t begin to express our gratefulness that she was assigned to my brother and the compassion she gave him at every turn. He learned from her and had gained confidence knowing she’d be there each appointment in case he needed any help. Please believe us when we tell you she’s a top runner for this extraordinary award for true compassion and heart.
