Jacintha went out of her way and connected them to charity organizations who extended support to them.
A 40-year-old male patient was bedbound post-Covid-19. He could not afford rehab care nor did he have enough support for home care and Dubai Health Authority was not able to accept his care for transfer to their facility. While facilitating his discharge, Nurse Jacintha played a key role in preparing the patient and his brother and took more time to explain about home care, pressure sore management, etc. Understanding the family's financial restraints, she went out of her way and connected them to charity organizations who extended support to them for which the brother of the patient was very thankful.

My daughter has been having acute stomach pain. We were scheduled for a breath test today. Followed by an appointment with Doctor O. We were informed yesterday that Doctor O will not be available because of an emergency. We arrived late for the breath test. My daughter was in pain. Sister Jacintha attended to her, was patient and caring. She saw the discomfort of my daughter. Took the initiative to talk to sister T and arranged for my daughter to be seen by another doctor, Dr. K in between his patients. Well done, sister Jacintha; your caring nature, genuine interest in patient care, went a long way in calming the patient. Keep it up.
