Krista was my nurse when I delivered my 16-week-old son after learning he had passed away at a routine doctor appointment three days prior. I was in great emotional pain and overwhelmed with the physical pain I was facing in delivering my deceased baby. It was not one specific thing but many little things by word and deed that Krista did to give me strength and let me know I was not alone. The details of my delivery are personal to me and safe with Krista. Delivery is difficult, messy, and also beautiful even when there is no crying life to greet you. After delivery, Krista stayed for hours after her shift ended carefully collecting keepsakes for me of my baby, such as foot and handprints. She had helped to carry the burden and gave me her very best in a very bad situation. Krista has an ability to care for people beyond what can be taught or learned. She’s authentically compassionate and a beautiful person. I think highly of Spectrum because I think highly of her.
