If you are looking for what a poster child of a nurse should be then you have one in Hannah. I am 75 years old and have seen my fair share of nurses, more than I care to count. I’ve been a patient at St Mary’s way too much and during my last few stays, I was blessed enough to have Hannah as my nurse. This young woman gives meaning to the word Nurse. Hannah is the most caring and compassionate nurse I have met in my lifetime. This woman goes out of her way to make sure all of your needs are met. To say she goes above and beyond the duties of a nurse is an understatement. She was so caring to the point that she made me feel like I was her only patient. Hannah always made sure I was comfortable and my needs were met. Sometimes late at night when I could not sleep she made sure she came and talked to me. There was a point when I was extremely depressed and having bad thoughts. Hannah helped me get over that hump. She listened to me, talked to me kindly, and was able to calm my thoughts. To this day, when I’m having a bad day I think of Hannah and the things she said to me, and those thoughts clear my head. I believe with all my heart that Hannah is a DAISY Nurse.
