What a bundle of energy and a great worker is Ashley! Her “laid back”, kind and friendly mannerism made all the difference for me when I was so uncomfortable. I do not know how she did it, but she took my mind off my pain while encouraging me to keep moving forward. I am so grateful for how well taken care of I felt and was under her watch. Probably one of her greatest gifts was her sense of humor and how she made me laugh when I needed it most. Thank you for all your hard work, it does not unnoticed. Stay blessed and keep doing what you are doing.

It was hard figuring out what criteria best describe this extraordinary nurse Ashley because they all fit her and what more can be said other than she is simply the best nurse you could ever ask for. She is professional, caring, compassionate, quick to identify changes in the patient, and quick to take action to resolve any issue. The type of care she offers helps to shorten the hospital stay so that a patient can be in their own home with family.

Ashley is a wonderful team member as we saw how she assured her patients that they were going to be cared for. She is so thorough and nothing was missed when it came to treatments for her patients. I observed how well she works with her teams like the PCT and the professionalism she role models. In these times, it is rare to find the amazing knowledge and dedication to make a difference for both patients and families. MVHS should be proud to have an employee of this caliber to represent them and carry on the tradition of nursing.
