My "wow" experience of this awesome person was so long I wrote it on the only piece of paper I could find in my home. She's the best ever! Before her, I've never met anyone so passionate, caring, and patient in the medical field. She loves her job and it shows inside and out!

Mrs. Tara from the LSU 4th floor Woman's clinic you are my DAISY! I was in awe of how friendly, patient, and caring Tara was during all of my visits. Prior to the birth of my two children, I suffered two miscarriages and was very nervous during my pregnancy. I shared this with Tara and she made sure I was comfortable, motivated me when I felt down, and told me that I was going to be a great mother! Ms. Tara helped me along a difficult journey. Every time she came into the room she was so pleasant, compassionate, wearing a smile while providing top-notch care! I had a few scary moments but she kept me calm and told me that I wasn’t alone. She really made a difference during my experience.

I told everyone I could think of about Tara and recommended that they have their babies at Woman’s. The staff at Woman’s are the best. LSU 4th floor you rock! Tara, I refer to you as “my nurse” although I know you’ve helped so many other patients I get so happy when I mention her name because several times she brought joy to my heart. She encouraged me not to give up even when I wanted to.

Sometimes I would be so down or scared when I came to my appointments. Then after I check-in and go into the back she would give me compliments on how pretty I looked or how well I was doing. She made my day. She turned my frown into a smile every single time and I will forever cherish that. I always left my appointments feeling better than I did when I arrived…all thanks to Tara. When I read the nomination card, I thought of you and my many “Wow experiences”. I’m a mom and a better person because of you. I love you forever. Love, peace, and prayer.
