Jessica, with the integrity she displayed, covered all the VA core values. When a nurse with kindness and a doctor to do her job to the best of her ability, it shows what she is made of. Her peers have expressed how much they like her and working with her. She always asks if there is anything else she can do for me. Jessica has come into my room when a doctor comes in to express her thoughts about my progress and needs. When she found out that I wasn't going to be able to leave on Saturday, she took me outside of the lobby to see my wife and daughter and 10-year-old granddaughter who live with me. It made a difference in how my family and I felt. Ever since I have used the VA I have met great employees who would give me all the help or directions I needed. I shake my head when I hear bad comments about the VA. I am proud of the USA and the freedom we have and the care I receive at the VA.
