I came to the ER experiencing chest pain, light-headedness, and shortness of breath. Jennifer showed skill and compassion as she cared for me, guided an orientee to insert my IV without making me feel uncomfortable or concerned, and monitored me with skill and speed. She was patient and calm and honest. In the treatment room I was located, I could hear the same level of patience, knowledge, and communication as she managed suspected stroke patients, and those with traumas to their extremities on the other side of the curtain. She took my concerns seriously and stayed cool under pressure. As a fellow nurse, I was impressed with her and want to make sure she is recognized. Thank you for your consideration.
