Ashlee took care of a patient who had recently given birth to her son at Genesis HealthCare System but because he had to be immediately transferred to Children's Hospital, the patient did not have any items (crib card, BP cuff, pictures) to take home for memories. To make the patient's situation even worse, she lost two other young children in a house fire a year ago. In this house fire, she also lost all of the items from the hospital for those children's births. Ashlee worked with her manager to get a crib card from the OB department for her most recent son's birth. Her compassion and innovation made a huge impact on her patient.
