We know Isaac was busy just by how “on his feet” he was, but he still made us feel like we were the only family he was working with.
Isaac was my son's nurse. My husband and I are first-time parents, and we tend to be very concerned about our son. Isaac was very compassionate to him and kept us feeling safe and comfortable. He was willing to answer all of our questions, and if he didn’t know the answer, he found out the answer in a quick and timely manner. He made us feel like our son was in very safe hands, and we were extremely thankful to have him.

We know he was busy just by how “on his feet” he was, but he still made us feel like we were the only family he was working with. We later found out that Isaac was a new nurse, and in fact, a new graduate. We never ever would have guessed by his compassionate and thoughtful care that he was brand new. He will be an incredible asset to Dayton Children's, and you guys are so lucky to have him.

We are astonished and will never go anywhere other than Dayton Children's because of the care Isaac provided. My daughter and I were very frustrated with the 4 hour wait time in the ER tonight. After we got back to the room, Isaac was immediately in the room to introduce himself and assure us that he was there to serve us and our needs. We voiced our frustration, and he apologized, along with explaining why we had the wait. He was strong in empathizing and understanding our point of view. He was so incredibly genuine in all of his care and was an extreme advocate for my daughter.

Our PCP told us to come to the ER for a chest x-ray, and he was sure to convey that to the doctor before she even came in. Isaac is a huge asset to the Dayton Children's community. In all my years of bringing my kids there, he was the most amazing and pleasant experience we’ve ever had. We hope to see him next time we are there. My daughter felt so comfortable around him. If every nurse cared as he did, the world would be in a better place.
