She was in so much pain she was writhing off the bed, but Jamie came in calmly, treated her pain, and explained everything along the way.
There was no single situation Jamie had that demonstrated how she is such a compassionate, comforting kind of nurse. It was the entire shift she had me as a patient that she advocated for me in regards to pain, was able to explain and talk to my mother in terms she would understand, and comforted me at all times. As a nurse myself she is a nurse I aspire to be like and would definitely trust and want to have to take care of my own family member. She has my utmost admiration and respect!

Jamie was our nurse yesterday when there was so much going on and we were so scared. We were told my daughter had a mass on her liver, and she’s only 36 and a nurse herself. She was in so much pain she was writhing off the bed, but Jamie came in calmly, treated her pain, and explained everything along the way. Even though there were tests and words we didn’t understand along the way, we knew we could ask this nurse and if she didn’t know the answer she would find out for us. She just made us feel so safe and even made us laugh a couple of times when we thought we couldn’t. Thank you, Jamie, for being there for us. She was there exactly when we needed her.
