Kristy goes above and beyond and is a great role model. Since march of 2020 we have been a covid unit. It has been an extremely trying year and we have been so lucky to have Kristy by our side, literally. She was there to help us every step of the way. She exemplifies trust, compassion, and respect. She motivates our staff and sets reasonable goals for our team. I could go on and on but, at the end of the day having Kristy as our leader has not only benefited the staff but the patients too. She truly has been a saving grace. Kristy is the ANM of 3 south and during one of the hardest times, she stayed the strongest. Not only did she come to work every day with a smile on her face, but she also helped all of us get through this pandemic...she checked in on all of us to ensure we were ok mentally. Kristy is a true DAISY Nurse Leader. Every single person on this unit feels like family and it is all because of her. Every unit dealt with a lot during covid however Kristy really stepped up as a new manager on two units all alone for several months. For this alone she should be recognized.
