As the Unit Director of Chris, I often receive compliments from patients/families for his care. This story is exceptionally touching. To preface the below email: 5F is currently the COVID Unit. We had a husband and wife both admitted for COVID. The husband was very sick and spent time between 5F and MSICU. He, unfortunately, passed away from complications. This is just one example of the compassionate care Chris provides.

The email read… I wanted to pass along to you that in my visit with the sister to the patient (whose husband died yesterday morning sadly), she could not say enough good things about Chris as he tended to the patient throughout the day. She emphasized that all the care has been good but said 'today's nurse was exceptional.' She told me how he knelt down, took the patient's hand, said if you need to buzz me just to have me come in here and hold your hand, do it. The sister was really touched by the support the patient got from Chris. Thank you, Chris, for all you do to support our patients and family members every day!
