I had foot surgery and developed a herniated disc, resulting in the immediate need for surgery. Needless to say, I was not at 100% and was very worried about the disc discectomy. Olivia called me back at 6 am and made me feel that she really cared about me. She understood what I was going through and communicated all the appropriate things to me to put me in a better, safer, state of mind.

She presented well and communicated well. She knew exactly what she needed to prepare me for surgery and didn’t skip a beat. As soon as I met her, I had complete confidence in her and I was right. She explained the procedures and the meds and why I have had terrible experiences with needles and IVs, but not with her. The first try was successful and I wasn’t in pain.

I needed an “Olivia” walking into surgery this morning and I am so thankful she was there. There needs to be more of her, with the compassion, caring attitude, and all the knowledge needed. I spent two weeks preparing and she did it in an hour. Your hospital is lucky to have her. I was lucky to have her. Thanks, Olivia. You had beautiful eyes, nails, and your sneakers were clean and matched your scrubs. 110% VIP. Thank you.
